Student-centered learning activities differ from teacher-centered instructions in five distinct areas: goals, role, motivation, assessment and interaction. This presentation will demonstrate free iPad apps that facilitate student-centered learning activities in reading, annotation, note-taking, concept mapping and interaction via white boards. These tools are also excellent for teacher professional development.
